The Mortgage & Finance Association of Australia (MFAA) is the peak national body providing service and representation to over 11,000 professional finance brokers (mortgage and finance brokers, mortgage managers and aggregators) to assist them to develop, foster, and promote the mortgage and finance industry in Australia.

The Credit and Investments Ombudsman (CIO) offers consumers an accessible, independent and fair external dispute resolution (EDR) service, approved by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC). The aim of the organisation is to provide consumers with a free and impartial dispute resolution service as an alternative to legal proceedings for resolving complaints with their financial services and product providers.
